Important Medical Disclaimer and CAP Compliance Notice

Scope of Practice & Complementary Status
Hypnotherapy is a process-oriented, complementary therapy and is intended solely for personal development, mindset optimisation, stress management, and behavioural support. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

No Medical or Psychiatric Claims
We operate under strict professional boundaries and do not act as primary medical practitioners. Specifically: No Diagnosis or Cures: We do not diagnose, treat, or claim to cure any physical, clinical, or psychiatric conditions that require qualified medical supervision under the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code).

Clinical Referrals
If you are currently experiencing a severe mental health disorder, such as clinical depression or panic disorders, chronic pain, or any other diagnosed medical condition, you must consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before commencing treatment.

Collaborative Stance
Our practice maintains a collaborative, non-expert stance where the client is treated as the ultimate expert in their own life, working alongside conventional medical care where appropriate.

Weight Management & Behavioural Change
Any support provided for weight management or changing unhelpful habits relating to food is strictly behavioural and mindset-focused. In accordance with Section 13 of the CAP Code, hypnotherapy does not inherently cause physical fat reduction or standalone weight loss; rather, it provides the psychological and habit-change framework required to support a healthy lifestyle, increased energy expenditure, or a calorie-controlled diet.

Pain Management
Any techniques utilising relaxation, guided imagery, or visualisation are intended purely to alter the psychological perception of discomfort and reduce the secondary stress associated with physical ailments. They do not constitute a medical cure or structural treatment for underlying chronic pain or organic medical conditions.

Outcome & Results
We promote outcome-oriented therapy focused on your strengths, resources, and best hopes. While solution-focused approaches are highly effective for personal empowerment and self-efficacy, individual results naturally vary based on normal psychological processes, response expectancy, and personal commitment. No 100 percent guarantees of success or permanent clinical cures are implied or given.
